Marble & Oak Property Joins Forces with URBAN X
This boutique agency, powered by Claire’s unmatched local expertise and infectious energy, promises a fresh approach to real estate across the Southern Highlands.
Claire’s path to real estate wasn’t exactly conventional. Before she was a trusted property expert, she spent some years as a motorbike mechanic. But her love of architecture, property, land and investment opportunities drew her to the industry.
“I love being part of people’s property journey — it’s such an important chapter in their life,” Claire shares. “Whether it’s a first home, a new build, or a forever property, being part of that story is something I truly value.”
Over the years, Claire became known for her tireless work ethic, deep local knowledge, and ability to bring joy to even the most stressful parts of buying or selling. But after building so many meaningful client relationships, she wanted to offer something more personal.
“I wanted to create a business where no two clients are treated the same, where marketing strategies are tailored, and the service is truly personalised,” she explains. “The connections I make with my clients are so important to me, and I wanted to be able to put more impact into their experience.”
The idea of starting her own agency had been a thought bubble for years, but when Dan Argent CEO of URBAN X reached out, everything clicked.
Of course, starting a business wasn’t without its fears.
“There was the fear of security, but the excitement completely outweighed the fear. When your job is your passion, it doesn’t feel like work.”
And it shows. Marble & Oak Property has already made waves with their rare combination of new build construction insight and market expertise.
“We know property decisions shape people’s lives,” Claire says. “Whether it’s a charming character home, a new build, or a sprawling piece of land, we want our clients to feel supported, informed, and excited”.
For other agents thinking about branching out, Claire’s advice is one to remember: “Don’t be scared of your fears. The sky’s the limit, so don’t think twice.”
With a spoonful of energy, a bucket of passion, and an unwavering commitment to her clients, Claire Douch is not just building a business — she’s building a legacy. And the Southern Highlands is all the better for it.
