TaylorHedley launch their new brand in partnership with UrbanX
Just three years into their real estate careers, Sam Taylor and Beau Hedley have strengthened their working partnership and have joined forces to launch TaylorHedley property.
The duo first met in 2018, when Beau was doing the open home rounds whilst looking for an agent to sell his home. Despite Beau choosing a different agent to sell his house, something Sam “is still lowkey bitter about,” for the last two years, they have been working as successful lead/listing agents in the same effective business unit.
Their philosophy and approach to real estate is aligned, and they see selling property as an opportunity to build relationships and deliver outstanding results for their clients and contributing positively to the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie community. Their commitment to understanding their clients is reflected in their brand position: It’s Not About Us, It’s About Your Home.
Running their own business is in their DNA, and they’re driven to grow a brand reputation that they are proud of and that others want to be involved with.
As Sam and Beau explain, “We both grew up with our parents being small business owners and working for themselves. It has always been something that both of us have wanted to do.
In recent years, we have been operating, growing, and nurturing a team within a successful real estate business. We wanted to keep progressing forward and create a versatile platform that we could tailor to our markets’ needs, develop other aspiring professionals, and build a reputation to be proud of. The step to open TaylorHedley was a no brainer.”
The choice to partner with UrbanX was clear. After meeting and reviewing other platforms and franchises Sam and Beau tell us, “It was clear that UrbanX was the most suitable model for what we wanted to achieve. Their entire team seem very client-focused and are humble in their approach, which was important to us. We spoke to 15 other UrbanX partners and the common response was: “Do it! It’s the best decision we have made as a business.”
When asked about the experience of partnering with UrbanX, Sam and Beau say they couldn’t have done it with anyone else. “We have been well-educated through processes we were unfamiliar with and couldn’t have setup our business in such a short timeframe without them. We’ve been impressed with the level of communication and how innovative they are in their practices. We’ve had a lot of laughs through the process and the staff culture appears to be incredible – it’s what we imagine working at Google would be like.”
